WORKABLE E-COMMERCE LAWS

SECURE INTERNET GATEWAY

	TDO’s systems are based on open source technology, which has been tried, tested, audited and deployed by more companies and organizations than any other commercial source.
	TDO guarantees a secure internet gateway and firewall facility by deploying an integrated server based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system.
	As a firewall, the server will block unauthorized access to TDO’s internal network. Only authorized email or file transfer sessions will be allowed.

SECURE FILE TRANSFER SERVER

File transfer sessions will be protected by 128-bit encryption through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Access logs will enable TDO management to audit file transfers where necessary.

SECURE EMAIL SERVER

	Access to email will be provided by direct inbound and outbound mail servers using the POP3/IMAP and SMTP protocols, as well as through a web-based interface.
	Access to email will be password protected and secured by SSL.

EFFECTIVE INTERNAL CONTROL PROCEDURES

	Mature internal control systems provide effective division of functions as well as structured authorization and approval processes.
	Effective systems for storage and off-site back-up restrict access to only approved personnel and guarantee long term safety of client files.
